  • Beach Ball activity to get people focused - What is new in your life? Summer experiences

  • Tools/Skills Instruction - Online videos (Liz)
  • Coaching/Co-Teaching and Co-Planning (Paula)
  • Release Time/Small group meetings (Liz)
  • Observations- visit another teacher who is doing something special (Liz)
  • Sharing and showcasing lessons and teachers - team and faculty meetings, newsletter (Paula)

SAMR Activity - a new way to think about technology integration
  • Find your partner: notecards - to make pairs (peanut butter & jelly, salt & pepper, etc.)
  • Sit with your partner and watch this YouTube video video which introduces the SAMR Model. This video was shortened using YouTube Video Editor.
  • With your partner, view the video and take notes using the Cornell form provided to you.
  • Each pair comes back and shares with group through a Linoit SAMR
  • Each group (or as a whole group) -come up with examples of each of the four levels of technology integration and add them to the Linoit.

    • All teachers must come so they hear the same information as the students
    • Possible dates September 3 - 6 and beyond
    • We need to see all students and all teachers for at least one hour or 75 minutes
